Totally organic equals totally circular economy
Fully organic products and services can only be made when circular economy principles are applied. Circular economy cannot deliver its benefits without fully organic products and services, as one cannot exist without the other.
The application of circular economy principles to all industry processes underpins the production of totally organic goods and services, and everything else is an imposter of circular economy or organic goods and service.
Think again! Organic content in landfilling or toxic packaging is not a totally organic product!
What is circular economy?
It is an economy where the best organic production principles are applied, and where organic food content comes in zero landfill packaging, causing no harm to human beings or the planet.
Circular economy is a better alternative to the traditional linear economy (extract, make, use and dispose). Through circular economy, we can we keep using the resources within a product for as long as possible, making the most of them whilst in use, then recycle and regenerate products and materials at the end of each product/service life cycle.
The principles that form the basis of circular economy goods and services production require the use of inputs that are fully sustainable and safe to both human beings and the environment, mostly by using renewable, natural ingredients whenever feasible, thus causing the least negative effects to the consumer and the environment and extending the usage of goods to the maximum. These principles are equivalent to the organic production principles – goods have to be natural (whenever feasible), safe and sustainable.
Why is circular economy important?
- Guarantees a product is totally organic, both content and packaging, causing no harm to human beings or the planet.
- Reduces waste.
- Increases production value.
- Minimises raw material usage.
- Increases economy security and provides a competitive edge.
